Shipping Policy

SECTION 1- PRODUCT SHIPMENTS
To place an order, the customer is obliged to provide the data requested by Dressed Home for legal business purposes, including but not limited to: Billing Name and Billing Address, Taxpayer or VAT number (Company Registration Number or Resale Number), and email address; or other mandatory information, if necessary for a legal business.
The customer is responsible for the selection of the products that constitute the purchase.
Delivery of the order is made to the address indicated by the customer when placing the order.

SECTION 2- DEADLINES
Standard production lead time for Dressed Home pieces is 4-10 weeks from the date payment is received. Delivery time is not included.
For large quantity orders, orders with 1 or more custom/made-to-order products, prototypes and/or bespoke products, requires a case-by-case analysis. Dressed Home reserves the right to adjust the delivery time accordingly. It must be agreed in advance and accepted in written agreement between all parties.

SECTION 3- CUSTOMIZATION AND MADE TO MEASURE
Dressed Home offers a Customization Service for its products according to Customers’ needs and specifications. Additionally, Dressed Home also accepts bespoke orders.
Different price quotes or fees may apply to custom/bespoke orders. Dressed Home reserves the right to set the validity period and price of an official quote for a customized product accordingly.
Dressed Home products are unique handcrafted items. Each product has its own unique attributes that are impossible to replicate identically from part to part due to the human factor. Due to the nature of Dressed Home’s manufacturing processes, techniques and material selection, some products may show slight variations, small marks, corrosion, porosity or color anomalies.
Many wood, stone and metal materials and finishes can vary in color, grain, tone and character, it is considered part of natural beauty. Although the manufacturer makes every effort to match a finish and/or texture, no guarantee can be made of an exact match. The manufacturer does not guarantee finishes against fading and oxidation.
Dressed Home does not fully guarantee a perfectly clear identity of identical finishes on two or more pieces manufactured in separate orders – with regard to coloring and precision detailing from artisanal processes such as carving, ceramics, casting and other metalwork, for technical reasons listed above.

SECTION 4- PRICES
For delivery within the EU, prices include VAT applicable at the time of purchase. VAT is included in the price. Neither customs costs nor VAT should be charged upon delivery within the EU. Any variation of the applicable VAT rate may affect the sales price of the product in the catalogue.
All prices always refer to a single unit and are EX WORK from Lordelo, Portugal. They do not include any associated shipping costs or fees.
The shipping cost will be calculated in the last step of the purchase.
In the event of delivery outside the EU, the customer will have to pay customs duties, VAT or any other fees related to the importation of products within the country of delivery. The customer is solely responsible for verifying in which cases the products ordered comply with the legislation applicable within the country of delivery.

SECTION 5- SHIPPING TERMS
Prior to the start of production and/or delivery of the products, the customer undertakes to pay the full price of the products (product price plus delivery costs) as stipulated and also to pay, or arrange for someone to pay the costs for you. customs, VAT or any other fees relating to the importation of the product into the country of delivery, directly to the customs official.
When on behalf of the customer, the load, transport, logistics, customs clearance, insurance, unloading or installation of the part at the place of destination is entirely the customer’s responsibility. Dressed Home will be exempt from any charges or liability for events, losses or any damages, during or after transportation or installation.
All catalog prices are EX WORK and therefore do not include any shipping costs or associated fees.
All transport services require the recipient of the goods to verify their status with the carrier at the time of delivery.
